Migraine headaches should be prevented if possible.

Migraine sufferers typically experience one or more headaches each month. Migraines can also attack several times a week, or maybe only once a year.

  • Women have to cope with menstruation, and birth control pills. 
  • Changes in sleep patterns work havoc on all types of headaches also.
  • Certain chemicals and scents trigger migraines. 
  • Migraine sufferers with parents that are also migraine sufferers have a much greater change for having migraines.

Caffeine is one stimulate found in many drinks and coffee that the head doesn't like. Also migraines eventually don't respond as well to consuming to much pain medicine such as over the counter or even most prescription pain medicines. It's thought that to much pain medicine accounts for 85% of daily headaches.
