Do migraine headaches have to be so often?

A migraine may be from something so complicated a headache specialist may have to figure it out, then it may be something you can control. We think all migraines that are managed can be less frequent and severe. If migraines are moderate and infrequent,  there may not be much thought put into them.

When migraines are more and more frequent, something has to be done. Migraines don't respond to pain medicine each day. Migraines aren't helped by never learning all known migraine headache triggers and not avoiding the ones that are found to give attacks.


What are migraines?

  • Preventing a migraine attack may be as simple as avoiding food and beverage triggers you've learned. Reducing caffeine intake, and avoid overusing pain medicine.
  • Reducing stress, relaxing more, and keeping a regular sleep pattern won't hurt. 
  • Migraine headache medication may be prescribed to decrease the attacks and frequency of them.
  • Print off a diary, and fill it in each day to pin point when you have a migraine and the events leading up to it. Some foods and beverages consumed a day before the attack isn't uncommon.

Have the right diagnose as what kind of headache you have. Migraine sufferers have a tenesity to have tension headaches overlapping with their migraines. Don't rule out anything when it comes to migraine headache relief. We've heard of sufferers having pain for quite some time before they connected what it was to their attacks. Some were:
